The colour purple has arrived in Oelde!

Company news

Möllers Packaging Technology (MPT) has officially been in Oelde since the beginning of the year. Six months later, the final work on the new company headquarters in the A2 industrial park has been completed, and the workforce has settled in.

In addition to the finished outdoor area with a large logo sign, flags and finished parking spaces, the interior of the new building has also been increasingly decorated with design elements in the typical MPT colour purple.

The welcome flags read “Hello Oelde,” and MPT is putting this motto into practice. With an invitation for a tour of the site with the Mayor of Oelde, Karin Rodeheger, and the local business development organisation, represented by Volker Combrink, the company is showing its interest in actively helping to shape what is happening in Oelde. “We’re an attractive employer for people in the local area and are showing our presence to establish ourselves at the new location. Our company is located at a dynamic site with state-of-the-art equipment for efficient production and a future-orientated workplace. We are strengthening our network of customers, employees and service providers with the best connections and in a good neighbourhood in the A2 industrial park. It’s a win-win situation for everyone,” explains the company’s CEO, Thomas Vertgewall.

Living regionally – operating internationally

MPT is growing and is always looking for qualified employees. MPT also continues to be a company that promotes young talent in various training areas. To this end, MPT is increasingly present at regional career fairs. The company recently presented itself as a training company at the Mach-Mit fair in Oelde (May 2024). There, too, Mayor Karin Rodeheger had a lively exchange with the new Oelde-based company.

A look back at the past

“We’re delighted to have successfully completed the move and can look back with pride on our achievements over the last few months of the transition. Overall, we are more than satisfied with the positive results of the last three years – we posted strong business figures and held our own.

Contrary to all expectations, we rose to the challenges, embraced important steps for the future and mastered them with flying colours,” summarises Managing Director Vertgewall in retrospect. With the expansion of the product portfolio with the new HSB-2600 high-speed bag filling machine, presented last year at international trade fairs such as interpack in Düsseldorf, MPT can increasingly position itself as a full-line supplier.

Möllers Packaging Technology is now an active part of the Oelde economy and is becoming increasingly established as an Oelde company. The machine manufacturer is positioning itself as a future-orientated, state-of-the-art company, and the new site reinforces this strategy.
